Voices Day #2
On Tuesday 4th March 2025, we held our second Voices Day.
A group of SEND Power members worked with council officers and health teams to plan and deliver this day.
We launched the Haringey Working Together Charter, setting out the values that underpin good working relationships – kindness, empathy, trust, safety and belonging.
A competition was held to design the central image, and Haringey’s SEND youth group, Elevated Youth, chose four winners across different categories.
Leading up to the day, a number of focus groups had held discussions about what was working well, and things that were more challenging.
Throughout the day we heard directly from these parents and young people about their own experiences.
Tudy-Ann, a Haringey SEND parent and member of our Steering Group said, “It was amazing; every bit of my journey was reflected”.
The charter was well received, and will be rolled out to all schools, settings and teams in Haringey.
